Was Attorney General Eric Holder Right?

Was Attorney General Eric Holder right when he said that Americana's are cowards?.
Did Holder mean that Americana's are afraid to criticize Obama because he is black?.
Did Holder mean that because Obama is black that the America people are cowardly and will not criticize Obama policies?.

If those are some of the things that Attorney General Eric Holder meant in his statement that Americana's are cowards then he played the race cards early on in the Obama administration
and the American people did not understand what he said until now.
