THE CONVERSATION WITH A 13 YEAR OLD REGARDING THE NATIONAL DEBT.!

A young girl raised her hand in her class room after her Teacher asked if any one knew about the National Debt, the Teacher recognized the young girl whose name was Sarah and the conversation went  like this:

What i know about the National Debt is that it is like a Horse Race, the faster the Horse gallops the more the Horse goes to the front of all the other Horses  and the National Debt is no different  because the more money the country spends the higher the National  Debt goes, simply put ,  if the Government does not want a large National Debt then the Government  should not spend more then it  takes in  - so  it would be better if the leaders of our Government would slow down to a trot, and then America would get a more harmonious outcome.

Sarah explained to the Teacher and her classmates that she  know that the National Debt is about 14 Trillion  Dollars and that the Government was going to increase the National Debt in 2011 by  about 1.50 Billion Dollars and that the Government has to borrow most of that money and that we were in a true Horse Race to go totally broke and into bankruptcy.

The Teacher asked Sarah who was only 13 years old if she had ever experienced in  her her life time  a situation where she had a problem with a personal money problem like a bankruptcy. Sarah answered yes and explained : ' I wanted  a puppy but the puppy cost $160.00 dollars at the Pet Shop and i only had $65.00 , and i did not want to ask my parents for more money then i had earned and save up for the puppy so rather then buy the puppy i decided to wait until a had earned or saved $300.00 before i purchased  a puppy from the Pet shop that  way i  would always have  a cash flow of $140.00 in my savings because i did not want to spend more then i had saved or spend beyond my means.' Needless to say the Teacher was impressed and Sarah's fellow classmates received a good lesson about the National Debt and what it means to them and the country.

It is not good folks, a little 13 year old girl named Sarah  knows more about managing finances then the total of the total of 535 members of Congress  plus the President of the United States and his  entire Cabinet. 'NOT GOOD FOLKS.'
