NIGHT RIDE OVER AMERICA ON NEW YEARS EVE. - BY DON CARTER

Outside it's limits i look down over America from the high green bluff, the river banks, i look at the people , the cities, the dead eyed in the setting sun and i watch it blink alive, light upon light from the East to the West to the South to the North.,

I see the people, divided, i see a Government of greed and lost direction i see elected representatives without direction i see  a President and his administration with a mental attitude problem  that has no purpose, with complete absenteeism with no  attention to duty, honor or  respect for the old Republic and the rule of law  and without leadership guided by the United States Constitution.

More importantly, i see a non-engaged citizenship, a citizenship that lacks pride, standards, and the grit to stand tall and make their life and country worth being remembered. The greatness of all past superior leaders from George Washington and the 'GI JOE' and 'GI JANE' no longer maters to those current non-engaged citizenship. 

For those people engaged in good  citizenship and for America; I hope that the New Moon of the New Year , yellow edged as it climbs from behind the rim of the Earth as black-fingered fir
trees point towards the dawn and the spring of promise.
