FALL, DAY OF HONORED REMEMBRANCE. BY DON CARTER

* FALL DAY, OF HONORED REMEMBRANCE *

At the prescient
Stand long lines,
Women waiting
In the morning cold.
No shadows on the ground
No picture ID checks
Wondering why,
They wait to vote
Traveling short and long distance
Snacking  and gulping down coffee.

Tomorrow,
Tomorrow,
To silent concern,
To bad remembrance
Of past 4 years,
The pain, the depressed
Failed leadership
Of  America
By a born Muslin Socialist,
Obama was the name.

They talk
In the chatter,
Of time past,
While one
Stands alone
Remembering,
To much,
To soon.
Time is near,
Cast their  vote
To refresh
Freedom
Life
Liberty
Happiness
America
America
America.

BY DON CARTER
A TRIBUTE FOR AMERICAN PRESIDENTIAL VOTERS ON NOVEMBER 201 2.
